This Privacy Policy explains how City Insurance Plus LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide through justincasecoverage.com (the "Site"), operated as Just In Case Coverage. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.
When you complete an application, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, date of birth, contact details, and information about the property, vehicles, or rental you want to insure. For auto applications we collect a photo of your driver's license and your vehicle identification numbers (VINs). We may collect additional documents you upload, such as photos or proof of ownership. We do not ask for Social Security numbers through this Site. Our host also records basic technical information (such as IP address) automatically.
We use your information to prepare insurance quotes, place and service policies, verify the risk being insured, respond to your inquiries, meet legal and carrier requirements, and communicate with you by your chosen method.
When you submit an application, you authorize us and our partner carriers to obtain consumer reports as permitted by law, which may include motor vehicle records (MVR), credit-based insurance scores, and prior claims history (CLUE). This authorization is presented on our forms and requires your agreement before submission.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: licensed insurance carriers and agencies (including City Insurance & Financial Services Inc., through which coverage may be placed) for quoting and servicing your insurance; consumer-reporting agencies as authorized above; service providers that operate the Site; and authorities when required by law.
Our application forms, including document and license uploads, are processed by our website host's form service and transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Submissions are delivered to us by email and secure dashboard. This Site is static and does not run advertising trackers.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. You provide information at your own risk.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided by contacting us at gerald@cityinsuranceplus.com or (763) 807-3523. You may opt out of marketing communications; operational messages about your coverage are not optional.
We retain your information as long as required by law, carrier contracts, and regulatory obligations, which may be after any policy ends.
This Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
Our host may set functional cookies needed to operate the Site. We do not use the Site for behavioral advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
This Site is intended for U.S. residents in the states where we are licensed. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so at your own risk and under U.S. law.
If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred; we will note any material change here.
We follow applicable state and federal privacy and insurance-data laws, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) where applicable. Residents of some states may have additional rights. We may update this Policy and will revise the effective date above when we do.
